The ADAMTS13 adamts13 (Catalog #MBS636953) is a Recombinant Protein produced from CHO and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s ADAMTS13 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Dilution: Western Blot: 20ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADAMTS13 adamts13 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The ADAMTS13 adamts13 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #73695936) (NCBI Accession #NP_620596.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q76LX8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Our knowledge of the role of proteins in cellular processes is continually evolving. Most proteins, including ADAMTS13 are typically involved in one or more signaling pathways or biological processes. Professionally manufactured recombinant proteins are increasingly becoming essential and commonplace tools for elucidating new knowledge about the role of proteins in both health and disease.

ADAMTS13 adamts13

Immunogen: CHO-derived recombinant human ADAMTS13.
Activity: Measured by its ability to cleave recombinant human von Willebrand factor A2 domain. Under the described conditions, 0.5ug of rhADAMTS13 can cleave > 50% of 5ug of rhvWF-A2.
The rhvWF-A2 cleaving activity can be inhibited by 5 mM 1,10-phenanthroline.
N-terminal Sequence Analysis: No results obtained; Gln34 predicted.
Molecular Mass: Predicted: 73kD
Observed: 90kD (reducing conditions). Biological Activity: Measured by its ability to cleave the fluorogenic peptide substrate, FRETS-VWF73. The specific activity is >10pmol/min/ug.
Grade: Purified
Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1ug. Blood, Brain, Connective Tissue, Eye, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Nerve, Ovary, Placenta tissues are correlated with this protein. Fever, Hepatitis, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Failure, Necrosis, Purpura, Thrombocytopenic, Idiopathic, Purpura, Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic, Thrombotic Microangiopathies are some of the diseases may be linked to ADAMTS13, Recombinant, Human (A disintegrin-like and metalloprotease (reprolysin type) with thrombospondin type 1 motif, 13). ADAMTS13 also interacts with the following gene(s): ABO, CFHR1, CFHR3, GP1BA, VWF.
