The DDR2 ddr2 (Catalog #MBS637031) is a Recombinant Protein and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase.

The DDR2 ddr2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #62420886) (NCBI Accession #NP_001014796.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q16832). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Our knowledge of the role of proteins in cellular processes is continually evolving. Most proteins, including DDR2 are typically involved in one or more signaling pathways or biological processes. Professionally manufactured recombinant proteins are increasingly becoming essential and commonplace tools for elucidating new knowledge about the role of proteins in both health and disease.

DDR2 ddr2

Activity: Measured by its ability to bind collagen I (1ug/ml, 100 L/well) in a functional ELISA with an apparent Kd < 10 nM.
Endotoxin Level: < 1.0 EU per 1 g of the protein as determined by the LAL method. Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile PBS be added to the vial to prepare a working stock solution of no less than 100ug/ml. The carrier-free protein should be used immediately upon reconstitution to avoid losses in activity due to non-specific binding to the inside surface of the vial. For long term storage as a dilute solution, a carrier protein (e.g. 0.1% HSA or BSA) should be added to the vial. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Skin, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Atherosclerosis, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Diseases, Immune System Diseases, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to DDR2, Recombinant, Human (Discoidin Domain Receptor 2). DDR2 also interacts with the following gene(s): ATF4, COL1A1, MMP13, MMP2, SRC.
