Testing Data (QC Testing for Specific Activity)
Our knowledge of the role of proteins in cellular processes is continually evolving. Most proteins, including HDAC5, Full Length are typically involved in one or more signaling pathways or biological processes. Professionally manufactured recombinant proteins are increasingly becoming essential and commonplace tools for elucidating new knowledge about the role of proteins in both health and disease.
Specific Activity: >=2500pmol/min/ug. Assay Conditions: 25mM Tris/Cl, pH 8.0, 137mM sodium chloride, 2.7mM KCl, 1mM MgCl2, and 0.1mg/ml BSA, 20uM H5109-66G substrate and 0.8-50ng/ul HDAC5. Incubate 30 min at 37C followed by develloping for 15 min at room temperate. Blood, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Nerve, Thyroid tissues are correlated with this protein. Atherosclerosis, Brain Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Hypertrophy, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to HDAC5, Full Length, Recombinant, Human (HD5, FLJ90614, KIAA0600, NY-CO-9, Histone Deacetylase 5). HDAC5 also interacts with the following gene(s): ANKRA2, BCL6, BCOR, HDAC3, MEF2D, NCOR1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
