The UL32 n/a (Catalog #MBS505057) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s pp150 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).ELISA and Western Blot assays. Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique, this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates.
Suggested Titer By Elisa:
up to 1: 4,640, which corresponds to 0.25 mg/ml of protein concentration in plates for IgM and IgG detection. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the UL32 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The UL32 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #530527718) (NCBI Accession #AGT36561.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Our knowledge of the role of proteins in cellular processes is continually evolving. Most proteins, including pp150 are typically involved in one or more signaling pathways or biological processes. Professionally manufactured recombinant proteins are increasingly becoming essential and commonplace tools for elucidating new knowledge about the role of proteins in both health and disease.
Observations: Proteins should be maintained frozen at high concentrations. The dilution to be performed for ELISA assays should be made with a small quantity of protein, the same day of the experiment. In order to defrost the protein, maintain the aliquot at 25 degree C without shaking to avoid aggregation. Prior making test dilutions and after defrost the protein, is recommended to remove possible protein aggregates by centrifuging the stock solution, avoiding alterations in the immobilization of the biomolecule to the solid surface.
